Your Hosts

There aren’t a lot of resources out there for fitness professionals on how to teach a class after you get your certification. When it comes to coaching and cueing, most of us are not taught a systematic approach. This goes beyond knowing anatomy/ physiology, movement patterns, progressions/ regressions, but the delivery system that you use to communicate in a way that not only captivates your verbal, visual, and kinesthetic learners, but also amplifies the incredibly important nuances like how you say it, when you say it, and what to avoid. It’s these things that make teaching a group fitness class like a performance art. Performers will spend months perfecting the nuance of how they deliver their message to their audience to create the best possible experience. In this episode we’re going to teach you how to become world-class at how you deliver your class experience.

What You’ll Learn From This Episode:

  • The importance of the delivery “system” that you use when delivering your coaching and cueing
  • The four types of instructors, and which one YOU want to be
  • All about FCM’s very first online course to help take you there
