About the event

What ancient tool can you, as a group fitness instructor, use to connect, resonate, and inspire your clients in every class?

It’s not a dumbbell.

Storytelling.

Now, if you’re like me, you’ve probably shared a personal story during class hoping it would motivate or create a connection with your clients. But, have you ever felt like maybe it didn't hit the mark? Maybe it came off as too cheesy or worse… preachy, or just not relevant to what your clients needed at that moment? It’s a really common issue.

A friend of mine recently shared with me that her cycling instructor started talking about her divorce in the middle of class, and she was like “wha?”

She, and a few other clients left reviews expressing that they thought this was an unnecessary overshare that left them feeling more concerned and confused than inspired. The studio replied with “Our instructors are encouraged to share personal stories to connect with riders.”

The thing is, storytelling is a super powerful tool, but it’s all about how you use it. There’s a balance between using your lived experiences to inspire your people and... well, oversharing and making it more about you than them.

But here’s the good news—you can learn how to weave your personal stories in a way that connects, motivates, and transforms your clients’ experiences working with you, while keeping the focus where it needs to be: on them. And I want to show you how to do it in a way that will have your clients leaving your class inspired and wanting to come back again and again.

That’s why this month’s Masterclass is where I’m going to teach you exactly how to take your lived experiences and turn them into stories that inspire your clients. In just an hour you...
